Subsidised Training​

Students can now get subsidised training even with prior training or qualifications, making it even easier to get the skills you need for the future you want.

What's subsidised training?

The Queensland Government, through the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training reduces the cost of training for eligible students means that your new career goal more achievable than you might have thought.

Because of the demand for workers in the Community Services sector funding has been allocated to many qualifications in the sector, for students who meet the eligibility criteria.

Certificate 3 Guarantee Funding

The Certificate 3 Guarantee supports the Queensland Government’s Working Queensland jobs plan. The Certificate 3 Guarantee provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to complete their first post-school certificate III qualification.

Higher Level Skills Funding

The Higher Level Skills program supports the Queensland Government’s Working Queensland jobs plan.  The program provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to access one subsidised training place in selected certificate IV and above qualifications, or priority skill sets.

The aim is to assist individuals to gain the higher level skills required to secure employment or career advancement in priority industries or to transition to university.

User Choice Funding

The User Choice Program provides a public funding contribution towards the cost of training and assessment services for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees.
