RPL Your CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual
Support (Ageing and Disability)

Apply your current skills and experience towards your qualification. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may reduce study time. This qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide
person-centred support to clients who require support due to ageing, disability, or some other reason.

The RPL process includes:
  • Gathering evidence that supports your competency in your role. This will be involve:
    • Providing documents such as a current resume, job description, any certificates from workplace training you have undertaken and other organisational documents.
    • Completing either a Competency Conversation with one of our trainers or a Competency Question sheet to demonstrate your understanding.
    • Submitting a Third-Party Report, which your supervisor is required to complete.
  • Throughout this process, you may also be required to attend an online session via Microsoft Teams to confirm and/or clarify information.
  • Depending on the outcome of the RPL assessment process, we will advise you if any additional study is required to complete the qualification. A specific plan will be developed based on your gap training and assessment needs.
